PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS, POLICIES AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE OR PROCEEDING WITH YOUR ORDER.

All users of this site agree that access to and uses of this site are subject to the following terms, policies and conditions and other applicable laws. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.

Transfer of Ownership of Merchandise

All goods become your property at the time they are accepted by the transport carrier.

Order Confirmation

Your submittal of an order and/or your signature on our Order Acknowledgment is a conditional acceptance by Smartstor of your offer to purchase our goods and your acceptance of our terms and conditions. It may contain terms that differ from or add to those contained in your purchase order, should you have one, and to the extent that this is the case, Smartstor hereby expressly conditions its acceptance of your offer on Smartstor assent to the additional or different terms. Your receipt and retention of the goods covered by this invoice shall constitute acceptance of any such additional or different terms.

Sales Tax

Smartstor is required by law to collect all applicable federal and provincial taxes for goods & services shipped within Canada. Customers from outside countries may be exempt from these taxes.

Cancellations and Alterations to Existing Orders

Once an order is approved and placed into production, your order cannot be cancelled for any reason.

Claims, Adjustments and Returns

If you have any problems with your order please contact customer service at 877-305-7627 within 10 days of receipt. We advise opening your merchandise to review its quality if you do not intend to use it right away. Unless there are defective units, we do not offer credits, discounts or refunds on any customized orders. Please have your invoice/order number available when contacting us. WE DO NOT ACCEPT UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS.

Requests for a return/refund must be submitted within 10 days of receipt of product. All custom made/imprinted items are not returnable, as they are made to your specifications at the time of order. If there is a problem with your order, we will replace any bad product. Product replacement may take up to 21 days from the time the initial product is received back in our factory for inspection.

Remember: If any problem arises, please call customer service immediately.

Overages and Shortages

This is not applicable to the production of the USB Flash Drives. However if you purchase additional accessories from Smartstor, we try to produce your order in the exact quantity ordered, but this is not always possible due to quality control efforts and fast running machines. We reserve the right to ship and subsequently bill or credit, your charge card or account, for up to 10% over or under the desired quantity.

Merchandise Consistency

Please note that we encourage you to take the opportunity to review a sample of the actual product before you order in bulk quantity. It is important that you understand that these samples are representative in nature. While we are very careful about the suppliers we use, manufacturing variations are often unavoidable and a natural result of the manufacturing process. By choosing to place and order with Smartstor, you are agreeing to accept merchandise with reasonable manufacturing variances in product material, color and packaging.

Ordering Policy

After you submit your order, you will receive an email confirmation that your order was placed along with a copy of your invoice. All orders are required to be paid in full prior to production.  In cases where a deposit has been accepted to start production, the balance is to be paid in full prior to shipping.

Orders can take 10 to 21 business days to reach your location after receipt of cleared payment, and once your artwork and files for loading are received and approved. Prices of items and shipping charges are subject to change at any time, however you will be notified if any changes are needed.

It is very important to us that you be happy with your order. Your satisfaction remains our top priority!

Payment Terms

We accept payments in any of the following forms:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Wire transfer
  • Money order
  • Certified cheque

Any mailed orders with checks or money orders should include the Smartstor invoice number.

For any pre-approved institutional purchase order, our terms are Net 30 days. You will be billed when your order is shipped to you. All other orders must be paid in advance by one of the approved payment methods. Items purchased by purchase order, money order, check or credit card will be processed when we have received this method of payment and have verified it.

All Smartstor customers are required to work with their Customer Service Representative and/or Smartstor management to pre-determine payment terms.

When payment is complete and verified, your order is placed and production begins. Orders cannot be altered or cancelled once the order is placed.

Pricing

While we make best efforts to keep our pricing up to date at the time of quotation, from time to time actual market conditions may change the price of a product. We reserve the right to change at anytime the prices of our products due to fluctuations in market prices, currency, economic changes, material costs, operating cost or any other change that would affect the cost of producing our products.  Please note that all prices are quoted door-to-door unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs will be added to your total at the bottom section of your invoice.

Product Price Changes


Most materials used to assemble your custom usb drive are stable or fixed.  Memory chip prices fluctuate daily according to market supply/demand and are out of our control.  In the event of a price reduction of an item recently ordered, Smartstor will only credit a difference to an order if the order has not been processed. Any price reduction will not be refunded if the order has already been started on.  In the event of a price increase, the quoted price will be honored.  If a price increase occurs prior to your order being processed, you will be informed of the change in writing and the price you were quoted will be adjusted accordingly.

Shipping

The customer agrees that it will not hold Smartstor accountable for any delays in delivery occasioned by acts of God, custom clearance delays or other circumstances over which we have no direct control. The same applies to any damages ar losses occured during shipping.  Any issues having to do third party shipping carriers are to be handled with the transportation company involved.

Factory production or delivery dates are the best estimates of our team, and in no case shall Smartstor Inc. be liable for any consequential or missed opportunities arising from any delay in delivery.

Shipping Costs: Fixed Shipping prices will be added to the total price of your order at checkout. Shipping prices may be higher for oversize packages then originally quoted. We will notify you after placing your order if this is the case.

Shipping Methods: Most of our items are shipped via UPS, DHL, Fedex and Canada Post. In special cases, we may choose to ship using some other carrier.  If you have a courier account with one of these carriers or any other, you may opt to book the shipping with your own carrier and with your own account.
